Attire:
- No bare midriffs;
- Open toed sandals are acceptable but NO flip flops (i.e. beach or shower shoes);
- Dress in a professional manner that will reflect good taste and judgment;
- Pin attire (what you would wear to a chapter meeting) is always acceptable;
- Suits are not mandatory;
- It will be warm in Arizona in July but keep in mind the meeting rooms will be air-conditioned. Be prepared with a light wrap or sweater;
- All attendees are required to wear all white for our opening national chapter meeting on Saturday, July 12. The tradition of wearing white
at the opening chapter meeting began in 1985. This publicly demonstrates the tie that binds us to each other and to
Alpha Chi Omega;
- Wearing white all day is optional. Some attendees will change during a break or before a meal.
Attire suggestions:
- Friday - Opening Reception/Dinner - Casual - jeans are acceptable; weather permitting. We will be outside and the surface is gravel so please wear appropriate shoes. If it is too hot or raining we will move the event indoors. A “picnic dinner" will be served.
- Saturday Opening Chapter Meeting - all white attire;
- Saturday – Rest of the day - Business/Badge Attire or stay in all white outfit;
- Saturday – Reunion Dinner - “Snappy Casual”- this category is up for interpretation but can be capris or slacks, a nice top or jacket or a skirt and sweater or something “fun”;
- Sunday – Business/Badge attire;
- Monday - During the day - Business/Badge attire;
- Monday – Final Night Banquet - Semi-formal to Formal - the “little black dress” always works well.
