Our Mission
The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation supports the educational and philanthropic purposes of Alpha Chi Omega through effective fundraising and stewardship of financial resources.
The Organization

COLLEGE SENIORS: FELLOW SISTERS NEED YOUR HELP
We would like each senior to consider a four-year commitment to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation with a gift of $10 this year, $20 the following year, $30 the third and $40 the fourth year (for a total gift of $100). VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - FOUNDATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES POSITION
Are you interested in making a lasting impact on Alpha Chi Omega? The Foundation Board of Trustees is seeking qualified candidates to serve. The Board of Trustees is given the legal corporate authority and responsibility for the achievement of the Foundation’s mission, which is to support the educational and philanthropic purposes of Alpha Chi Omega through effective fundraising and stewardship of financial resources. It is responsible for overseeing the management of the Foundation’s finances. The Board is also responsible for supporting the educational and philanthropic purposes of Alpha Chi Omega through the effective stewardship of financial resources. The Board is responsible for monitoring its own performance in fulfilling these responsibilities.
Please submit a “letter of interest” and a resume to Headquarters to the attention of Susie Mariutto. Letters must be submitted no later than Monday, April 20, 2009 to be considered.

Through Educational Assistance Grants, Member Assistance Grants, Love & Loyalty Grants and Scholarships, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation provides merit and need-based financial assistance to members and those closely related to Alpha Chi Omegas, as well as chapters for their members—demonstrating continued support for our sisters.

Ensuring Continued Support for Our Friends
With annual grants to domestic violence awareness organizations and for related programs, to The MacDowell Colony, and to Easter Seals, the Foundation demonstrates Alpha Chi Omega’s commitment to those in our communities via Opportunity Grants. Also, the Foundation partners with individuals and chapters to make gifts to local non-profit organizations via the Local Philanthropic Initiatives (LPI) Fund.
Helping Great Women Achieve Great Things
In 2005-06, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation granted $421,665 to the Fraternity for educational programming. Some of the quality programs benefiting from this grant include the Chapter Consultant and Leadership Mentor program, IMPACT alpha chi omega, Kristin’s Story, Leadership Academy, and “Work Hard. Play Smart.”
