RSS
RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication, allows you to pull updates from your favorite websites into one place – called a reader. There are many free readers to choose from, such as Google Reader. After you have an RSS reader account set up, you can click on the RSS icon on any web site to subscribe to their feed. When you subscribe to an RSS feed, updates will be delivered directly to your reader, so you don’t have to spend time checking your favorite web sites to see if new content has been published. Subscribe to Alpha Chi Omega’s RSS for our blog, our Twitter Thought of the Day, or our Flickr photo stream and you’ll always be up-to-date with the latest Alpha Chi Omega information.

Twitter
Twitter is an increasingly popular service that allows people to communicate and stay connected through short updates of 140 characters or less. Users can post messages, called “tweets,” to Twitter via the web, mobile texting and instant messaging. Because messages have to be brief, Twitter is often referred to as a micro-blog. Follow friends, family, co-workers, celebrities or thought leaders so you’ll always know what they’re doing. Follow Alpha Chi Omega’s Thought of the Day on Twitter. Our most recent post from Twitter is also pulled into the bottom of the My Alpha Chi homepage.
