While many women join sororities during college, Alpha Chi Omega has long sought and accepted members who’ve already graduated and now seek the benefits of a strong women’s organization. All of us are enriched by a community of interesting and accomplished women of all ages. And it’s okay to make that choice beyond college.
An alumna initiate is simply a woman who was not involved with Alpha Chi Omega or another sorority as a collegian, but who now wants to join. Often, we encounter women who’ve served Alpha Chi Omega in some way or who know one or more of our members. However you come to know us, we’re interested in knowing you. And now is an excellent time to join! The 2010 National Convention passed exciting new legislation that enhances our alumna initiate program. We've made it easier to join and made alumna initiate membership more relevant.
If you’re interested in joining us as an alumna initiate—or know someone who is—simply contact Kassie Kissinger, Director of Lifetime Engagement. Thank you for your interest in Alpha Chi Omega.
