New Members
Welcome and congratulations. We’re so excited you’ve joined us!
This is a special time in your life and membership. With Alpha Chi Omega, you don’t have to agonize through some trial period like you do with a new job. You’re a full member from Day 1. That gets you lots of opportunities and benefits. It also involves responsibilities—to yourself and your sisters.
As a new member, you’ll get to learn a lot. (Don’t worry, you’ll be connected with a big sister in your chapter who will show you the ropes. Lots of others will be there for you, too.)
You’ll learn about Alpha Chi Omega history. Our customs. Our secrets! What sisterhood is all about. You’ll learn where we live. Where we learn. And all we aspire to be.
Your calendar will fill up with lots of fun things to do—dinners, social activities, meetings and classes.
Mostly, you’ll get to meet lots of amazing women—students, alumnae and guests.
Your new member packet will help you remember everything. Your chapter will provide materials, too. And please, ask lots of questions. Get involved. Get engaged. It’s going to be fun!
