This all-volunteer board directs the Alpha Chi Omega National Housing Corporation. One member of the National Council serves as an ex-officio board member. Nominations for other board seats are solicited from time to time via this web site. Applications are then reviewed and board members appointed by the National Council. Mikelle Holt Brady, President Alpha, DePauw University Childhood ambition: School bus driver or astronaut. Favorite quote: “Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.” ~Eleanor Roosevelt Not on her resume:  I love adventure.  Right after our honeymoon, my husband and I found a new place to live by driving around Colorado, exploring different mountain towns and "interviewing" residents.  Six months later we moved to Pagosa Springs. Cassie Gerhardt, Secretary/Treasurer Alpha Pi, University of North Dakota Childhood ambition: I wanted to be in politics… I love history and government and the thought of working in public service sounded glamorous and exciting to me when I was a kid.  I eventually grew-up and realized the stress of elections was not something I wanted in my life, but I still love watching the political process from the sidelines. Favorite book: Little Women.  I read it when I was 12 years old and it was the first “big” book I ever read.  As the only girl in my family, I loved reading about the lifelong bonds of sisterhood that Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy shared… maybe it’s what led me to Alpha Chi. Most proud of: My sons, Jack and Alex!  They make me proud for a number of reasons, but in particular I am proud that they are kind individuals who use their manners and appropriate grammar on a daily basis.

Heather Comstock Claybrook, Director Phi, University of Kansas Childhood ambition: A professional singer. Would like to dine with: My mom!  Why: She passed away 9 years ago, and I miss her terribly.  Plus she's never met my children so I would love to hear what she has to say about them! Hobbies: When you have three young children it's hard to find time for a hobby but just sharing a cup of coffee with a friend is what I enjoy most. Not on her resume: I sing the National Anthem at professional sporting events such as Royals baseball and Chiefs football.

Angela Costley Harris, Director Alpha Beta, Purdue University Childhood ambition: First Lady of the United States (all the perks of the presidency without having to wrestle with Congress!) Diane Davis Murphy, Director Epsilon Psi, University of California-Irvine Childhood ambition: Flight attendant Would like to dine with: My father Why: I would like my husband and children to meet him, and I would like to let him know how much he has influenced my adult life. Hobbies: Spending time outdoors with my family biking, swimming, camping and going to the beach. Not on her resume: Her current ambition to be a park ranger.

Christina Greenwell Mullins, Director Zeta Upsilon, Case Western Reserve University Childhood ambition: An architect.  I loved to look at floor plans.  And I built my own dollhouse, with working electricity and stained wood floors, when I was 13 years old. Benning, GA to become a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.  We had a female drop-out rate over 40%.  Through six months of training, I learned a great deal about the extent of my personal mental, emotional, and physical strength.

Susan Johnson Wilson, Director Beta Lambda, University of Arizona Childhood ambition: A rodeo clown. A friend’s father did it on the weekends and watching him, I thought it was the most exciting and heroic job in the world. Not on her resume: I have a passion for WWII airplanes. I have been up in the B-17, B-24 and the B-25 many times. My dream is to someday fly in the P-51 Mustang.
