Alpha Chi Omega would not be the organization it is today without the generous contributions of time and talent from members throughout the nation. Whether they work at the local or national levels, these women supplement the work of our board and staff and help our organization accomplish far more than it otherwise could. Provinces and Regions
Provinces
According to Alpha Chi Omega’s Policies and Procedures, Section V:
V9. 1 Collegiate Provinces
Collegiate chapters of Alpha Chi Omega shall be divided into geographical areas called provinces. The number of provinces and their extent shall be determined by the National Council. For each province there shall be a province collegiate chair who shall be selected in accordance with Fraternity policies.”

Alumnae chapters shall be divided into geographical areas called provinces. The number of provinces and their extent shall be determined by the National Council. For each province there shall be a province alumnae chair who shall be selected in accordance with Fraternity policies.”
The province divisions enable staff and volunteers to better serve the alumnae and collegiate members living in each province. The province alumnae chair and province collegiate chair focus on the growth and development of the alumnae and collegiate chapters in the province.
Collegiate Experience Regional Structure
The collegiate experience department utilizes a regional structure in order to provide consistent and clear communication to our chapters through our volunteers and chapter consultants. Alpha Chi Omega collegiate chapters are split into four regions, beginning from the northeast (Region 1) to the west (Region 4). All chapter consultants, province collegiate chairs, volunteer specialists and NPC delegates are assigned to a region and/or province that align with the regional structure.
Foundation Regional Structure
The Foundation also utilizes a regional structure in order to provide consistent and clear messaging to the local alumnae chapters, collegiate chapters, volunteers and donors through both state and regional volunteers. The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation splits the country into four regions similar to that of our collegiate experience department. The regions consist of Northeast, South, Midwest and West. Each region has its own regional chair, and state chairs report to the regional chair.
