How do I become a member of Alpha Chi Omega?
Contact the local collegiate chapter on your campus. Chances are they continuously recruit members. You may also contact Headquarters and we will get you in touch with the chapter, if that is easier. Not all chapters are able to recruit year round, but many are.

My college doesn't have an Alpha Chi Omega chapter. Can I start one?
We are always interested in learning about campuses where women are interested in the Alpha Chi Omega experience. However, the National Panhellenic Conference determines when a campus is open for expansion. On any campus with an existing Panhellenic, the Panhellenic must vote to invite another group to campus.

Many factors determine whether a campus needs another group including:

  • Number of women not placed in the system
  • Number of women interested in the Greek experience
  • Housing availability or requirements
  • Whether existing groups are at Panhellenic total

Please feel free to contact Headquarters for more information or for clarification. We are pleased that you are interested in Alpha Chi Omega!
