Calling all Alpha Chi Omega alumnae!

We want to hear from YOU! Your feedback is invaluable to continue to improve the alumnae experience. A group of volunteer Specialists from the Alumnae Engagement Team has created a survey to help us learn more about your needs and how we can create the best possible alumnae programming. To complete the survey, simply click on this link. The deadline to complete the survey is April 15, 2010.

Each member who completes the survey and includes her contact information at the bottom of the form will be eligible for a grand prize drawing. Twenty lucky winners will be randomly selected to receive a $20 gift card to Herff Jones, the official jeweler of Alpha Chi Omega. The survey consists of 35 questions and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

 Life Loyal contest winner announced

Congratulations, Lexie!

Alpha Chi Omega sponsored a contest in November for members who joined Life Loyal.  The winner won a trip to visit fellow Alpha Chi Omega and Life Loyal member Melissa d’Arabian (Alpha Iota, Univ. of Vermont), the season five winner of “The Next Food Network Star” and host of Food Network’s hit series“Ten Dollar Dinners with Melissa d’Arabian.”  Lexie Beer (Zeta Eta, Bradley Univ.) was the lucky recipient.  Lexie wrote of her New York City getaway:

“I couldn’t have been more tickled to meet Melissa and see the show!  Melissa was such a charming, sweet host.  It was so great to watch her cook up something special for the new season of 'Ten Dollar Dinners.'  We even got to try a warm and freshly made meal.  We had a great time, getting to meet Melissa, seeing the Food Network studios in action, filling ourselves with Broadway greatness and enjoying local food from various NYC hot spots.  It was an awesome trip, the best prize I could have ever asked for!  Alpha Chi just keeps giving back to me in these great ways and I could not have asked for more.  Thanks so much to everyone who made this trip possible!”

Watch all-new episodes of “Ten Dollar Dinners with Melissa d’Arabian,”Sundays at 12:30 p.m. ET/PT on Food Network.

And become Melissa's fan on Facebook!

 Attention Sisters: Where Are You?

Alpha Chi Omega has launched a comprehensive database update project.

There are so many exciting programs and opportunities that are in development or have been recently introduced. As a member of Alpha Chi Omega, you demonstrated your loyalty on the day you joined and we want to make sure we demonstrate our loyalty to you throughout your lifetime!

But, we can’t communicate if we don’t know where you are! So, Alpha Chi Omega has partnered with PCI Publishing, based in Texas, to find you and update your information in our database and to be included in a published alumnae directory. We want you to know that when you receive an e-mail or phone call asking for you to update your information, it is legitimate.

Please note, members may conduct a database search online at alphachiomega.org. It is located in a secure section that is only accessible to members. When you update your information, you may select your privacy settings so that your contact information won’t show up if someone searches for you. Also note, Alpha Chi Omega does not sell mailing lists to third parties.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you in the database!

Please review our statement on the distribution of member information.
