These facilities give members a place to live, eat, study, hang out, and develop lifelong bonds with their sisters and our organization.
The most traditional facility is a chapter house, while others have lodges, suites or reserved residence hall floors. These facilities are owned, leased and/or operated by local nonprofit housing corporations run by both alumnae and collegians. Others are run by our National Housing Corporation.
Some colleges and universities do not allow Greek organizations to have facilities. But chapters on these campuses still find ways to bond and grow as members by meeting at other on-campus or local facilities. Many members also choose to live together in private residences.
Members who have an opportunity to live in a chapter facility find they’re affordable and safe housing options that provide a fun and easy way to connect with sisters.
