To Stay Connected

Looking to the future

While there is uncertainty today, we still have the everlasting connections of real, strong women through Alpha Chi Omega. We want our members to know that we are looking to the future to ensure our organization is prepared for the various scenarios that a “new normal” might entail. This includes exploring recruitment models, online new member education, membership programming, dues and more for the fall and beyond. We will continue to keep our membership informed on the work of the national project dedicated to these efforts. Additionally, Alpha Chi Omega recently shared our response efforts with the fraternal industry. Read more here.

ensure your contact information is up to date

Alpha Chi Omega Blog
Connecting is easy when you can reach out and hold on to your sisters, when you can see their faces to know if they need encouragement, a laugh or a strong cup of coffee. It’s when we’re not in the same room – whether that’s across campus or across the country – that connecting becomes an intentional act and takes on new meaning.

By sharing our stories, we create a network of Alpha Chi Omegas. We learn of the similarities that draw us together and the differences that make each of us a unique chord in the symphony of sisterhood.  Read about your sisters' stories, share your own or simply connect with Alpha Chi today!
The Lyre  - Excerpts from the latest issue
Social media and our website help connect us, but there's nothing quite the same as getting the new issue of The Lyre magazine in the mail.

The Lyre is available to Alpha Chi Omega alumnae as part of the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation’s donor communications strategy. Members can receive The Lyre through cumulative gifts to the Foundation at the Foundation’s Life Loyal Roll level. Find more information on the Life Loyal Roll page.

Read with sisters in our Alumnae Book Club

Alumnae Book ClubAlpha Chi Omega hosts an online book club just for alumnae! To sign up for the book club, join our Facebook group, AXO Alumnae Book Club. Each month, we will read a new book and have a virtual discussion. Learn more here.

Attend a sisterhood event

One of the best ways Alpha Chi Omega can support you is by helping you build relationships and connections to sisters across the country. Members and/or chapters might consider hosting an event to connect and celebrate our sisterhood, virtually now and in-person later. Collegiate and alumnae chapters are already hosting creative events to engage members and have fun with sisters. Alpha Chi Omega is curating a list of these events. Submit your event details and we will work to get them posted online here for sisters to find open-invite events to attend! We hope this helps sisters meet other Alpha Chi Omegas, even during this time of social distancing.

If your sisterhood event is virtual - or you just want to use these to show your support and love for Alpha Chi - download one of our Alpha Chi Omega Zoom backgrounds, available here.

Additional Resources

As we collectively navigate social distancing, we must continue to build community and create lasting connections within our sisterhood. This facilitation guide was developed to enhance volunteer team virtual calls by providing ways to build community through connection and shared experiences while navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. These tips, tricks and resources can be applied beyond volunteer roles, however, to all areas of your professional and personal life.

We have also created some fillable e-cards for you to send a carnation to a senior or a note to a sister just because you're thinking of her!
