Member Assistance Grants

One of the most meaningful aspects of membership in Alpha Chi Omega is the comfort of knowing you have the support of loyal sisters through life’s unpredictable moments. We know our members face ups, downs and events that will significantly alter their lives. In an effort to help them overcome moments of hardship, Alpha Chi Omega provides member assistance grants to aid financial struggles.
 
Our member assistance grants are for collegiate and alumnae members facing financial difficulty due to life-changing circumstances. Grant amounts vary each year depending on the established criteria and distribution voted on annually by the Board of Trustees. These grants are typically reserved for members facing extreme financial emergency in meeting their basic needs of life (food, shelter, medical expenses, etc.) and cannot be used to pay dues and fees associated with Alpha Chi Omega membership.

Please note: this is a new streamlined COVID-19 specific application that is different from our general member assistance application. We hope this simplified application will help our members feel comfortable in reaching out for assistance and help us to respond in a swift manner. These grants are to be used to cover basic necessities such as food, shelter and medical expenses and CANNOT be used to pay collegiate dues and fees.
