Chapter consultants are time-honored necessity to Alpha Chi Omega! For more than 50 years, Alpha Chi Omega chapter consultants have been working with sisters throughout the country to create the best Alpha Chi Omega collegiate experience possible.
Traveling vs Resident - what's the difference?
If you're currently in college, you’ll meet one of our traveling or resident chapter consultants when they work with your chapter this year! Traveling chapter consultants travel nonstop to chapters throughout the year, offering support to leaders for all aspects of chapter operations. They consult with chapter officers and members about administrative operations and educational programs, teach and encourage leadership development, assist with member recruitment and retention, and provide training to officers and advisors.
In contrast, resident chapter consultants work with a prospective chapter or new chapter to assist in recruiting new members and help our newest members developing their leadership skills as they establish a new chapter with Alpha Chi Omega best practices. These consultants live in that location and work with that one chapter for the duration of the academic year and travel occasionally to other chapters. Each type of chapter consultant is essential to helping Alpha Chi Omega carry out its mission and developing our members as real, strong women.
