More about our digital Issue
Beginning with the fall 2022 issue, The Lyre will be available publicly on Issuu, a digital publication platform. Digital access is available to anyone – members and nonmembers alike. Read each issue of The Lyre wherever you are and on any device. It is our hope that the digital Lyre will increase connections between sisters and friends and to our Fraternity.
How to Receive The Print Lyre
Alumnae members who make cumulative gifts of $299 or more to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation reach the Life Loyal Roll and, as part of our donor communications strategy, receive The Lyre. Collegiate members will receive the fall, spring and summer issues in physical form to their permanent address; the winter issue will be shared with them digitally.

Want to be a part of The Lyre? We rely on members like you to find story ideas and start conversations on topics of importance to our members. Volunteer writers and photographers seeking an opportunity to be published are also invited to contribute.

LYRE FAQs
The Lyre is a quarterly magazine; issues are published in print and online each March, June, September and December.
The Lyre is mailed to collegiate members in the spring, summer and fall. Alumnae members who have reached the Foundation’s Life Loyal Roll receive print copies in the spring, summer, fall and winter.
In addition, The Lyre is available digitally to all members, potential new members and friends of Alpha Chi Omega on Issuu.

In 2011, the decision was made to change the distribution of the Lyre to put to better use the organization’s funds to support educational, leadership and philanthropic initiatives. When members were promised the Lyre for life, our membership was much smaller, and costs for printing and postage were quite a bit lower. Since then, costs and numbers have risen dramatically. To best steward our resources, distribution of the print Lyre was reduced, going to those alumnae who joined the Fraternity’s Life Loyal program. In 2019, the program transitioned to the Foundation’s Life Loyal Roll for cumulative giving recognition.
We hope you enjoy the great stories and news in the digital Lyre, which will be the same as the print version.
