Enhancing our alumnae experience includes welcoming new alumnae chapters into our network of real, strong women. These chapters create instant connections for members making a move to a new city and ease the transition from college to a career.
We invite our members to establish new alumnae chapters in cities and communities where they currently do not exist. In addition, our virtual chapters have connected sisters and fulfilled their desire for support, interaction and connection to Alpha Chi Omega.
Creating an alumnae chapter is easier than you think! All that’s required is 10 dues-paying members, including a chapter president and treasurer. Alumnae wishing to create a new chapter can determine which of our three alumnae chapter structures best fits their needs:
Geographic–the most common format, where members congregate based on their geographic area
Affiliated–another option for alumnae who choose to create a chapter affiliated with an Alpha Chi Omega collegiate chapter
Virtual–an ideal opportunity for our alumnae who live in isolated areas or travel frequently, this format offers a web-based chapter for members to connect virtually
The group should petition the National Council through our lifetime engagement department. For more information, contact the lifetime engagement department

Being a real, strong woman is a journey. We’re dedicated to helping our members achieve their best selves throughout their lifetime. This includes educational and programming resources for our alumnae, in addition to our undergraduate members.
We developed an alumnae engagement task force to research opportunities and learn more about what members like you want and need. With their feedback, we are working with our alumnae resource specialists to build meaningful programs that help our alumnae fulfill their needs and achieve their goals.
