Scholarship and grant amounts vary each year depending on new donations and funds, fund criteria and the distribution amount approved by the Board of Trustees. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation can only fund endeavors considered charitable or philanthropic. Therefore, no grants can be used for member dues and fees.

Love & Loyalty
Love & Loyalty funds are established by donors to provide sustaining annual funding for Fraternity educational and philanthropic programs. Annual grants from these funds are used to support the Foundation’s annual grant to the Fraternity.
Donors can make tax-deductible gifts for educational improvements to chapter facilities within the guidelines provided by the IRS. These funds can be granted to the local house corporation or the National Housing Corporation to pay for construction, renovation, redecoration, furnishing or operations of educational portions of the designated chapter’s facility.
The Foundation honors three of Alpha Chi Omega’s special historic relationships through grants from three endowed “opportunity” funds. The Foundation supports Easter Seals, Star Studio at MacDowell and the National Panhellenic Conference’s Outstanding Campus Advisor Award from the annual distributions of the Lonn Easter Seal Fund, the Jennifer Jones Fund for MacDowell and the Alpha Chi Omega Centennial Fund.
