Your boots are packed, your suitcases are ready by the door and your schedule is filled with sisterhood fun! We can’t wait to see you in Dallas for our 63rd National Convention, July 17-19!
Online registration is closed, but registration is accepted on-site for most activities at the Sheraton Dallas with payment of a late fee. You can select individual events to participate in or the full weekend experience.
we’ve rounded up the schedule highlights
When you arrive at the hotel to begin your convention experience, you’ll join hundreds of your sisters in the Lone Star Preconvene of the hotel. Check in at the registration desk on Friday and explore all the vendors, sponsors and staff tables. Update your information in the Women & Wisdom portal to prepare for a weekend of networking, dive into our history at the archives experience and learn more about alumnae opportunities.
Make the switch from Alpha Chi letters to school colors and get ready for Reunion Night Dinner. There may be so many chapter sisters attending that you take up multiple tables!
After dinner, shuffle those boots to our Steppin’ Into Sisterhood Social. Learn how to line dance from a Dallas professional, purchase an embroidered bandana from a local vendor and hang with sisters. Back again this year is our commemorative postcard – take a minute to share a quick note with sisters! Visit the vendors for late-night shopping, chat with sponsors and check out the Star Booth to purchase a star or two to honor a sister. Desserts and a cash bar will be available.
Saturday morning will begin with the National Chapter Meeting. Swap your alma mater gear for all-white badge attire and join us to celebrate new alumnae chapters, tune in to the State of the Enterprise and more.
After the Sisterhood Luncheon, choose from a variety of education sessions, and then come together for our keynote presentation from Erin King. Later that afternoon, recognize membership milestones, awards and our Hall of Memory at the All That is Noble program.
Saturday night, we invite you to saddle up for a night out on the town! Dinner is on your own, and we encourage you to explore Dallas with sisters. Check out the convention app for dinner suggestions and connect with others for reservations.
On Sunday morning, the second National Chapter Meeting includes a legislative report, the National Council installation and awards. We’ll have our formal closing before heading off to celebrate our donors’ impact at the Foundation Luncheon. Then join sisters for a conversation on domestic violence and ways to support survivors and your community. The afternoon concludes with more education sessions.
Lastly, join your sisters – new friends and old – for a night under the Alpha Chi sky with our Carnation Celebration. Grab your sparkly boots and your favorite cocktail/semi-formal attire and spend the last evening of convention celebrating chapters, sisters and our entire weekend.
We can’t wait to see you in Dallas!
