What started with seven young women at DePauw University has grown into a sisterhood of hundreds of thousands of real, strong women. We’re thrilled to welcome Lily Heddinghaus from the Delta Omega chapter at University of Kentucky as Alpha Chi Omega’s 300,000th initiated member!

Each June, we recognize LGBTQ Pride Month. Alpha Chi Omega shares informative resources and highlights the individual experiences of sisters who identify as LGBTQ – like Madison Wilson, a collegiate member of our Kappa Rho (University of North Carolina at Charlotte) chapter.

Our seven founders wanted to create an organization that offered social interaction, friendship and artistic society as well as a place that fostered the advancement of the principles of true womanhood.
